Bringing Cleaner, Healthier Water to Every Home

What Is DROP Connect

DROP Connect is a smart water management system that monitors your home’s water 24/7 and protects it from leak damage. At the heart of the system is the DROP Hub, which communicates with leak detectors, valves, and sensors throughout your home. On city water, the Home Protection Valve uses a built-in flow meter and pressure sensors to catch continuous flow, leaky toilets, and even small leaks — and can shut off your water automatically or right from the app. On well water, the Pump Controller monitors water usage and pump health, alerting you to excessive usage before a burst pipe or appliance leak turns into water damage.

When Is DROP Connect Necessary?

DROP Connect is for anyone who’s ever worried about what their plumbing is doing while they’re away — a burst pipe in winter, a failed washing machine hose, a toilet that runs all night. It’s also a natural upgrade if you have or are adding a water softener: the DROP Salt Sensor notifies you when it’s time to add salt before you run out. From the DROP Connect app, you can check your water status from anywhere, control your equipment, track usage, and get alerts by text, email, and push notification.

What Is Required For DROP Connect?

Getting started is simple — we install the protection kit that matches your home. The City Home Protection Kit includes a DROP Hub, Home Protection Valve, and two leak detectors. The Well Home Protection Kit includes a DROP Hub, Pump Controller, meter, and two leak detectors. Already have a softener? The Salt Sensor Kit adds smart salt monitoring on its own. A single hub can manage hundreds of DROP devices, so your system can grow over time — all you need is home Wi-Fi and the DROP Connect app on your phone.
